Bronze woman scholar by Gregory - nineteenth
Gilded bronze signed Jean-Louis Grégoire (1840-1890) and numbered "238" and "629".
He represents a scholarly woman lying down and leaning on a portable organ. She is richly dressed and her hair is arranged in a Greco-Roman hairstyle.
At his side, a religious book is placed under a collection of scores.
Period: Second half nineteenth.
Very good state.
