Exceptional Normand mariage armoire in carved and moulded oak from the region of Fecamp. Very rich carvings, attractive panels. Central dove decoration, superb medalions, one on hunting the other on fishing. Musical instruments on lower cross-band. A similar armoire can be seen Chateau de Martainville.

Very large 18th C monastery table in walnut. The 6 cm thick top in one piece measures 340 cm by 100 cm; the weight is over 200 kilos.
PAIR OF LOUIS XVI STYLE CORNER DISPLAY CABINETS
Attractive pair of Louis XVI style corner display cabinets in mahogany veneer. Antique glazing - blown glass with characteristic reflects (see photos) - on the door and sides surrounded by brass. Brass gallery on the top, attractive frieze on the apron. Fluted legs ending in bronze sabots. Attractive bronze ribbon key holes. Each display cabinet has three red painted shelves with brass edging. The interiors are also red. Napoleon III period, circa 1870 Good original condition.
PLASTER DOG HEAD SIGNED CAIN
Plaster head of a Bloodhound signed Cain (Auguste Nicolas Cain, 1821-1894),on oak stand. Model extremely rare, never before seen on the market nor in the inventory of museums other than as in photos; the number made must have been very small as is often the case with models made from plaster casts which allow no more than ten or so examples. NORMAND LONGCASE GRANDFATHER CLOCK
Very rare longcase clock in carved oak known as "Demoiselle de Coutances" (Young lady from Coutance). The three-part case comprises three glazed doors for the top, a door in the front plus a small glazed circular door and a rare side door in the central part, making a total of six doors. Superb bronze pins and decoration from the Villedieu-les-Poeles brass foundery. Original lantern movement, faience dial and very attractive carved and embossed brass fronton representing two phoenix with central shield uner a basket of flowers. High quality late 18th C mechanism in bronze and iron, back escapement, chains and pulleys with a single 5.7 kilo weight (anchor escapement and hooded bell). Again rare for the period, the clock has an eight-day striking movement. The movement has been fully cleaned and revised by a clock-maker. Made in Normandy in the late 18th-early 19th C

LOUIS XV PERIOD CHEST OF DRAWERS
Magnificent 18th C "arbalete" chest of drawers in mahogany. Superb original condition. The side of the upper drawer is stamped with the "jurande" mark for Nantes (an oval containing half an ermine-half a fleur de lys) with the date 72 (for 1772). Attractive Louis XVI style bronze handles and keyholes. The interior of the drawers are still lined with "toile de Nantes" (printed cotton)

PISTOLS
Two reglementary cavalry pistols circa 1816-1822 - Model 1822 T bis - the first from the Imperial Manufactury of Mutzig, in good condition and well marked but needs to be revised - the secod from the Imperial Manufactury of St Etienne, transformed at Mutzig, excellent condition with very attractive markings and in perfect working condition. The two pistols are complete and sold as are for a collector able to give the attention they merit. The price is for the two as they are. More photos and information available by request.
PAIR OF PORCELAIN VASES SIGNED LOUIS FLOURENS
Very attractive pair of Bayeux porcelain vases with polychrome flowers and Chinese scenes on blue background and gilt decoration. The interior of an necks are also painted. The fine work and range of colours shows the influence of Jacob Petit. Both vases are signed "L F" in blue, signature of Louis Flourens, famous artist of Bayeux porcelain. Bayeux, Gosse period, mid 19th C In perfect original condition.
